Olympic Games

Olympic Games are an international sports festival.
They are held every four years. Summer and Winter
Games are organizesed seperately. The Paralympic
Games were created for athletes with disabilities.
Originally the Olympic Games were held in Ancient
Greece. Nowadays the competitors from different
countries play against each other and the events are
broadcast and watched worlwide.
The Olympic program consists of many different
sports. Hungarians are very good at water sports like
swimming, diving, water polo, kayaking and canoeing
as well as handball, gymnastics, boxing and athletics.
Hungarians have won many medals with fencing being
the top medal-producing sport.
