My town

My town is in the south-east of Hungary. It’s a rather small town and it’s quite traditional. Békés is located near the country seat called Békéscsaba. It has a population of about 20 thousand.
In the center of the town there are some historic buildings where you can see interesting exhibitions. Near the museums there are some churches, shops and restaurants. In the park you can have a rest under the shady trees.
Besides the essential services such as banks, post offices and a bus service there are also some good pubs and restaurants.
The land is flat and low so it’s perfect for cycling. If you like nature, you can spend time at the River Körös and go boating there.
