HOBBIES AND PASTIMES

I usually go running because this is my hobby. I like card games and boardgames! It is a typical holiday activity in my family. Our favourite game is Uno. My father hates losing and sometimes gets quite upset, though. I like Scrabble the best, but I often play quiz games. When I was children, I like all kinds of games. I have a computer, so nowadays, I surf on the internet or I play with Sims.

In our school have sport days when we play football and handball.

A hobby is an activity that you like doing and do quite often. In my opinion, the hobbies the most important free time activity. If you have any hobby, it is easier to regain energy after a hard day’s work. Unfortunately, many Hungarians spend their free time, in front of the TV. Nowadays many young people spend much time playing computer games either at home. Outdoors activity for example, walking, cycling and hiking, while the indoors activity for example baking, cooking, model buildings, reading or dancing too. Young adults like, for example extreme sports, but as they get older and have families, they start doing something in which the whole family take part. Very few women not so interested in extreme sports, either. On the other hand, men generally aren’t interested in cooking or baking.
